SEPTEMBER OCTOBER SCHEDULE
Walk The #CaminoRizal with me.
Lets take a trip around Madrid and retrace Filipino National Hero Jose Rizal’s steps. We’ll visit places where he strolled, where he dined, where he congregated with other Filipino artists and intellectuals to discuss the reforms of their beloved Las Filipinas. We’ll talk about his life, his views, his writings and the state of Philippine-Spanish relations past and present.
We will start our tour at the Museo Nacional de Antropologia before strolling through Retiro Park where we will have a picnic break by Palacio Cristal before walking back through Barrio de las Letras to see the bar Viva Madrid and Hotel Ingles.
Let’s talk. Let’s exchange ideas about city planning, art, and history. We could even practice our Spanish. Let’s be a little bit Indio Bravo and a little bit Ilustrado. It’s all good.
Just be sure to prepare Euro 3.00 for the museum entrance fee and to wear sensible shoes. Pack a little snack for our picnic if you wish. Please note: This is a very athletic tour. It’s about 12,000 steps or (Around 6.75km). But no worries. It isn’t hectic and I will go at your pace.
Assembly time is 6pm at the steps of the Museo Nacional de Antropologia. Metro Line (light blue). Stop: Atocha/Renfe/Cercanias
The tour ends at 830pm at Calle Echegaray near Plaza Sol.

I don’t really have a set rate for this tour as it is still in development. The recommended rate is Euro 25.00 per person but I am very flexible. I can accommodate the rate to your budget and to your reasoning.
