“WALK THIS WAY!” – Description:
Wander with me around the walled city of Intramuros on a theatrical ride through the years 1571 until 1945. You’ll learn about Manila’s complex history as we laze under trees, snack on candy, and marvel at some of the oldest heritage structures in the Philippine archipelago. We’ll start our journey at the Fort Santiago by the Pasig River. We’ll see Plaza Moriones, the Manila Cathedral, the Plaza Roma and end our journey in front of the UNESCO world heritage site of San Agustin Church.
There will be illusions. There will be candy. There will be buggy rides and theatre. We’ll talk about Filipino society, politics, history, art, religion, along with other topics that might make you laugh, cry. or possibly take offence. It’s performance art in the guise of a “walking tour”.
This tour is suitable for baby strollers, slow walkers, wheelchairs, and leashed dogs. The tour is in English.
*Private tours are available at a minimum of 25 people. This show is ideal for team building exercises, family reunions, class field trips, and office outings.
*Private tours for less than 25 people may be subject to an altered itinerary and content.
